Even if I just open Maschine 3 and then quit it, I get the 'has quit unexpectedly' crash.. report attached here.. nobody else is getting this?!
I've been experiencing the same issue since version 3.2. The last version that worked for me without these problems was 3.1.1.
I'm getting crashes when quitting everytime as well since 3.3. I'm on Ventura 13.7.2. When I was on 13.2 I only got crashes when I quit the application and said "discard changes" but now on 3.3 it doesn't matter. It crashes everytime. I went back to using maschine 2. No issues, easier on the eyes, and everything loads much faster.
Thanks for the crash report. We will look into it on the development team. @bzyboy Can you please explain what you are seeing that is loading slower on Maschine 3? There should be no reason for that to be the case; we can look into it once we have the details to improve things.
Happens to me as well on mac M1 Sequoia
The most noticeable differences are opening/closing the application and loading projects. I restarted my computer (macos 13.7.2) and ran the test below for Maschine 2. I then restarted my computer again and ran the identical test for Maschine 3. (Maschine MK3 was not turned on for the test.) The same project was loaded for both versions of Maschine. To make sure there was no "conversion" or anything else going on in the background I saved a copy of the project in Maschine 3 and that was the one opened for the Maschine 3 test. I have some projects where Ozone 11 Eq is being used and in Maschine 3 there is serious lag. The lag is also noticeable clicking through the groups the first time after opening a project. It takes a couple seconds for the focus to change to the newly selected group in Maschine 3. I appreciate you looking into this! (I should also add that the timing was done using the stop watch on my phone, so it's obviously not exact.)
