Need a Previous Version of Strummed Acoustic 1 (V1.0/1.1)

I updated Strummed Acoustic 1 to v1.2 and now it won't work with Kontakt 8 or 7 because I can't update to v8.4 without updating my OS, something my studio isn't comfortable with due to concerns with compatibility issues with other plugins. I REALLY need a download for V1 but its not listed on the "Previous Versions" page on this forum. I really wish NI offered legacy downloads for all their products… Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This new (not yet well advertised and easy to reach) page of your account should give you access to previous version of your registered stuff.

It's always best practice to read release notes before jumping straight in with updates.

Having said that, there really should be something in place within Native Access that checks compatibility with OS, software etc. and prevents showing updates that break compatibility.

The ironic part of this is that Native Access already limits access to specific updates like Kontakt for example - based on the OS you are running.

Why this logic does not apply to everything is baffling to me.

Haven’t tried it yet, but the steps should be these:

Download normally from that page
Install it (double clicking it or mounting if it is an image file)
Open Native Access (the product should already be listed, since it’s in your account, otherwise add the serial that you can find in your account/ My products and serials in NI website)
Check how the product is listed (Installed, Available, Repair,…)
If the product doesn’t prompt you to locate it, use the 3 dots menu at its right to see if it gives you an “Add Product Content” or “Installation Paths” choice
If nothing is there, check the Support menu at the bottom left of NA

Practically, install it from the downloaded file, check if it is already authorized in NA (it should, since you already had it installed) and find where you can locate the folder you chose for the installation
