Hello,
Yesterday I purchased Komplete Kontrol S49 MK3 and installed all required updates, firmware, and software. Today, the device worked for a while, but after some time it started automatically switching to Default MIDI Template, and the Komplete Kontrol software stopped recognizing it as a supported device.
In Native Access, the Hardware Connection Service appears with the status Available and never disappears from the list after installation. When I try to install it, it seems to install but does not actually appear in the system.
What I have already tried:
- Completely reinstalling Native Access and all components (removing leftovers and cleaning the registry);
- Changing USB cables and ports (including direct Type-C ↔ Type-A connection to the motherboard);
- Installing all current updates for S49 MK3 and Native Access (including today’s updates for both MK3 and Hardware Connection Service);
- Confirming there is no antivirus or other blocking software.
Today’s Hardware Connection Service update, it stopped launching entirely.
OS: Windows 11
Please help me resolve this issue and, if possible, provide instructions for fully removing and reinstalling the Hardware Connection Service.
Thank you.
