How to close Kontak 8 on MAC if Kontrol S49 MK3 is using it

hello,

Not sure if it's the right place to ask this.

But I am unable to close Kontak 8 if it's being used by my S49 MK3 keyboard on my MAC. I actually have to restart it if I want it gone.
anyone has an idea what I am doing wrong or what I should do ?

Ok, I think I know what you mean now, you mean these:

This has nothing to do with the keyboard being connected or not, behaviour is exactly the same with no keyboard involved.

Those red, yellow, and green buttons aren’t part of every Mac app — they’re part of macOS’s standard window frame. Apps like Kontakt use a custom interface so it looks the same on Mac and Windows, which means macOS doesn’t add the buttons. You close it from the menu instead or by pressing CMD + Q

Can you give more details? What steps should be taken if we wished to reproduce the issue? In what context? Is it when you are using Kontakt 8 in standalone? In your DAW? Which DAW? Does it do it with any library?

hey! By using Kontak 8 as standalone connected to the S49mk3 in plugin mode. All I have is the yellow button on the tool to shrink kontak. The red ( close) and green ( maximize) buttons are grayed out
