I am trying to use the touch strip on the Kontrol MK3 keyboard with Logic Pro for quick automation. So far, I'm unable to make it happen.
I went into Logic's Automation settings, have chosen the "Automation Quick Access" option, and press the button to have the mapping learned, then moved up and down the touch strip before clicking Done. When I tried testing on a plugin's parameter by clicking on it, the parameter foes not respond to the moving of my finger on the touch strip.
I have gone into the edit settings for the default MIDI template on the keyboard, and the touch strip is set to MIDI CC 11. With that, I assume that it should be mappable.
I also viewed Logic's control window with the MIDI info, and I noted that no value was detected when I touched and moved my finger on the touch strip.
I could use some guidance to sort this out; thank you.
