Hi everyone,
I’m experiencing a persistent issue with my Komplete Kontrol S61 MK2 and Logic Pro X on macOS Sequoia, and I'm hoping someone here can help (or share the required file).
Problem:
DAW integration for Logic is completely missing – the transport buttons (Play, Stop, Record, Loop, Metronome) on my S61 MK2 are sending MIDI notes instead of controlling Logic.
System info:
- Komplete Kontrol S61 MK2
- macOS Sequoia 15.5
- Logic Pro 11.2.2
- Komplete Kontrol (tested via Native Access, latest version + older 2.9.6 installer)
- Native Access running with admin permissions
What I’ve tried:
✅ Fully uninstalled and reinstalled Komplete Kontrol via Native Access (run with `sudo`)
✅ Reset Logic Pro (Trash Preferences)
✅ Checked `/Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Host Integration/Logic/` – the required file `Komplete Kontrol.bundle` is missing
✅ Manually unpacked `.pkg` installers using `pkgutil` (Komplete Kontrol 2.9.6 and latest versions)
→ Searched for any `.bundle` files via Terminal (`find . -name "*.bundle"`) – only found `Komplete Kontrol S-Series.bundle`
✅ Contacted NI support – received a very generic response telling me to reinstall Logic…
Request:
- Can someone share a working `Komplete Kontrol.bundle` from a functioning Logic installation?
- Or can someone from NI confirm whether this bundle is no longer installed by current Native Access or deprecated?
- Is there a verified workaround for getting DAW integration working on Sequoia + Logic 11?
Any help would be appreciated – I’ve exhausted the usual channels and would really prefer not to downgrade macOS or Logic just to get my controller fully working.
Thanks in advance!
Robin
