I’d love to suggest a feature that would improve the workflow and creativity for users of the Komplete Kontrol+ series:
Feature:
Please add a “Randomize” function directly accessible from the hardware screen/knob interface of Komplete Kontrol+ keyboards — available per product/instrument loaded.
Why this is important:
Currently, whenever I want to use the “Randomize” feature (especially for instruments like Playbox, Noire, or other Komplete instruments that support randomization), I have to go back to my computer and click the randomize button in the plugin UI. This breaks the flow and undermines the whole purpose of having such a powerful hands-on hardware interface.
Requested Implementation:
- Add a dedicated “Randomize” option on the keyboard’s screen when using supported plugins.
- Ideally, allow one of the encoders or buttons (e.g., pressing a specific knob or holding shift + knob) to trigger this function.
- Even better: make this a universal option for all supported Komplete Kontrol+ compatible instruments and effects that include randomization as part of their feature set.
Benefits:
- Keeps the workflow 100% hardware-based.
- Enhances creativity with quick, on-the-fly inspiration.
- Makes Komplete Kontrol+ keyboards feel more “complete” as standalone creative tools.
Is this something that could be considered in an upcoming firmware or software update? It would seriously level up the hands-on experience.
