Kontakt and Studio One on Mac

I have a Mac running OS 15 and Studio One. Kontakt 6 Player works just fine, though some libraries are missing (I'm assuming they require 7 or 8 Player to function). I've downloaded 7 and 8 multiple times and reran the plugin scanner multiple times. I cannot get Kontakt 7 or 8 to show up in Studio One. Any ideas on how to fix this? The support AI doesn't seem to understand my question.

It’s not only the Blocklist. Plug-ins can be selected to be shown or hidden using the white dots before their names on the list on the right. Only the ones with a white illuminated dot will be shown in the browser.

Are Kontakt 7 and 8 even listed there?

First we need to establish if the Kontakt 7/8 Players run/work as stand alone ?

Then we also need to know if you have done all the Mac user must do :

Be sure that you are using latest version of Native Access for your OS

ALL NI apps including NTKDaemon must have full disk access. : How to Enable Full Disk Access on mac OS

and disks must be of correct format : Notes on Network Drives and Disk Formats

And quote Kymeia : if using Sequoia then N.I. apps must be added to the Local Network (Ref.: How to grant audio apps access to your local network on macOS 15 Sequoia)

Also then do not use Clean My Mac.

I can launch 8 as an app but I can't play it with my keyboard. I can't figure out how to set it up. I tried 3 of the 4 steps you suggested. I don't understand what I'm supposed to do about the file format portion of the help. After doing those other 3 steps Studio One 5 still does not recognize it.

Have you checked the Studio One Plug-in Manager (specially the Blocklist)?

Maybe something there is not as it should.
