How to authorise old library on old Mac Pro Kontakt 5 stuck on Catalina

I have a MacBook Pro M1 Max (OS 15.4.1) with the latest versions of Kontakt 8 running via Logic Pro 11.2.1 However a few years ago I ran everything on a 2008 Mac Pro which will only run up to OSX Catalina with K5.8.1.

I'm scoring a movie and need to open and re-mix a complex 7.1 surround cue recorded in 2017 on my old Mac Pro OSX 10.11.6 for a Prequel cue but the K5 Stormdrum / Collosus EW library has de-authorised itself (??!!) … there is no way for me to use Native Access to re-authorise it on Catalina.

I've attempted to load and authorise the old Kontakt 3rd party EW library on my new Mac but it doesn't recognise a Pathway … can't find a route to the old library?

Ideally my favourite way to fix this would be to authorise K5 in the old 2008 Mac (whose Kontakt licenses have evaporated) … and to make matters worse some original plugins are no longer available in my current set-up … all I need do is get Stormdrum / Percussion adventures / Colossus (authorised in 2008) all working again when somehow their licenses have stopped running?

Many thanks to any clever person that can help me … I'm tearing my hair out and have already wasted a valuable day attmpting to resolve this ;-(

Please note that Kontakt 5 is not supported officially on M1 machines. We have a workaround that you can attempt to apply, however please note that we do not offer support for this workaround.

Go to the following location:
Macintosh HD > Library > Preferences
Delete the "com.native-instruments.Kontakt 5.plist" file
Restart your computer
Download, install and open NA 3.2.3 via this link:

Install Kontakt 5

Hello,

then i guess you already have native access 3.5.3 installed and it does not work. And maybe also ask EW those are really old products especially stormdrum, if you talk about the first version.
