Hi, New member here, I searched for similar issues, but did not find anything. Do here goes…
I recently moved all my Native Instruments content to a new location. I was able to repair all of the licensed content in Native Access. And the rest of it by removing and re-adding in Kontakt - Import Content. Everything seems to be working except snapshots. Kontakt does not find my existing snapshots in blah/blah/blah/Native Instruments/User Content. When I save a snapshot it gets saved to the Windows desktop. Any ideas?
The NI's support AI didn't seem to quite understand the problem, It ran me through all of the repair stuff I had already done. I was a little hopeful when it told me to delete some magic .db3 file and restart. But it made no difference. After that it was just stuck in a loop. Submitted a ticket for a human, but I was hoping to get this straightened out while I have some time this weekend.
I have not yet tried re-installing from scratch. I was worried that I would lose everything. But maybe it wouldn't be too bad. I don't have a lot of user snapshots and I can back those up. I'm not sure what else I might need to survive a re-install. I know how to re-install the content. I just did it. Tedious, but whatever it takes, I guess.
