Is this happening when using the standalone version of Kontakt 8 ?
Else have you tried completely removing Kontakt 8 and then reinstalling it again ? (If the problem was with the plugin version then rescan plugins in your DAW after uninstalling and before reinstalling).
Else are there any errors shown ? (is so the screenshot please)
