Hello. Since today, and out of nowhere, Massive X no longer loads any wavetables or noise samples (custom samples still work), but all other settings are still being loaded.
It doesn't matter whether I open an old project in Cubase 12, start a new one, or load my own presets or factory presets from NI — the settings are there, but the wavetables and samples are missing.
It looks like that.
Additionally, Cubase 12 sometimes gives me an error message, but it doesn't say anything specific — just that a crash dump has been written.
What I have done so far:
- Uninstalled and reinstalled Massive X via Native Access.
- Additionally uninstalled Massive X via "Add or Remove Programs" in Windows.
- Reinstalled Cubase 12.
I haven't done any updates; the last one was 10 days ago, and everything was working fine then. The only program I newly installed was Discord, which I uninstalled again as a test, but as expected, it didn't make any difference. That was more of a shot in the dark.
None of this has helped, and I'm honestly running out of ideas. Massive X is one of the synths I use most in my projects, and a lot of my work only exists as MIDI, not as rendered audio. I'd be grateful for any help – thanks in advance!
