Hi. Anyone know if Traktor 4 and new mac OS Tahoe (v26) are compatible? I usually download Mac and Iphone Betas, but now that I am using Traktor I'm afraid to do so. Anyone tried it?
I wouldn't recommend that.
By the way, NI always announces support for new operating systems later than others. There may be many reasons for this, but ultimately, you shouldn't use anything that isn't listed as compatible if you expect full functionality.

I wouldn't touch Tahoe with a 20 foot pole at the moment, unless I'd got a spare Mac I was happy trashing and reloading!! Stick with what works for a while longer if you're relying on it.

Any updates from NI themself on expectations about when a Tahoe update for Traktor will be available?
NI never shares when they will complete testing. Keep in mind they have to test all currently supported hardware and software. Usually it takes 2 or 3 months.

that's a long period.. you would say NI (like all other relevant vendors) would already be testing before the commercial launch of a new OS..
Well but you cannot test with a final release until you have this final release and this final release got released last Monday.
Of course most developers - and most likely NI too - are testing with beta releases. That‘s what they are made for but, during beta testing there are still big changes sometimes.
Most likely Traktor will work without or with minor issues on Tahoe. But NI doesn‘t support this yet. Usually you still get some kind of support if something doesn‘t work, but there is no obligation. And sometimes they may just say: Downgrade to Sequoia.
I just updated to Sonoma. Never use latest OS on youe DJ machine.

Traktor 4.3.0 7 works on my M1 MacBook Pro pretty well on MacOS Tahoe (26.0.1)
A Backup is much cheaper as a spare Mac
Running TP 4.3 on macOS 26.0.1 with my old Vestax VCI400-EGE without any problems.
