S88 mk3 for live performances?

I’ve owned an Arturia KeyLab mk2 for a few years and use it conjunction with Gig Performer. Last week, I took possession of a KeyLab mk3 and have discovered a very upsetting bug that has been discovered and commented on by many mk3 end users. Apparently, CC 64 will intermittently send 0 even though though the sustain pedal isn’t released. Not a good thing for serious pianists as myself. That being said, it looks like this bug has been around since 12/24, when the last firmware update occurred. I’ve been looking at the S88 mk3 as an alternative. My only concern is is lacks a significant amount of controllers as the KeyLab. I believe that I can make it work with a small slider controller. My question is- is anyone using one of these for live performances? My only use of NI software is Kontakt 7 and their FM instrument. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
