Hello

I recently acquired a superb Kontrol s49 mk3

I use it with a MacBook Air m1 and with cubase 14

I'm having a problem that I can't solve, hence this message to ask you for help

Here it is:

On a Cuban track

I show "komplete Kontrol, then from the mk3 keyboard and using the browser, I choose an instrument

Then when I activate the "scale" mode for example, I go to recording on cubase and in the cubase track, the scale mode has not been recorded, I just get the fundamental note!

How to make cubase record the agreement in full!

Thank you for your help

    Hello,

the mk3 keyboard series has a hardware arp and scale (play assist) mode too, and if you want to directly record those notes you would have to use the hardware scale mode. First disable software scale mode, press shift while scale is selected and select keyboard (as far as I remember) them activate it. But then this scale mode is active for all instruments you then play, so both modes have advantages and disadvantages.

But again - use just one of the two hard or software!!! Only if you know what you are doing, arp, for example can be fun to stack.

P.S. you can also record the resulting midi output from the plugin if you use the software play assist.
