Hi,

New to Komplete Control. Purchased a Kontrol S61 MK3 and Komplete 15 Ultimate. I was under the assumption that you can control all the Native Instruments Plugin settings from the keyboard (edit sounds, filters, envelopes etc) when using Komplete Control. Was I wrong to assume that? There are only a handfull of parameters that can be accessed from the keyboard vs the actual plugin or sound. Aware of classic view and how to switch out of it. I hit the edit button and there is really very little you can edit. Tried this with Bouquet and Sway. The plugin on the computer screen has a lot of things you can edit, but not from the keyboard. Any advice or am I expecting to much.

Thank you

NKS is implemented officially as kind of a quick performance feature for plugins with an aim to offer as few pages as possible to adjust the most impactful parameters for an instruments sound. THis sill usually be macro controls, filter controls and some character/effects parameters.

However it will not allow access to a lot of in-depth control in many cases.

For 3rd party libraries (such as the ones I develop in my signature) there is much more of a focus to try and cover as much as possible which can lead sometimes to a lot of pages, however these are usually ordered by importance so most of the controls you would access the most such as filter and envelopes will be at the start and less frequent such as effects or arp adjustments will be in the later pages.

The only thing you can really do for the official templates for NI instruments is add additional mapping and save it as a user based preset tho this has to be done on a per-preset level but there are limitations on what can be mapped.
