The beauty of MIDI out

Some Kontakt instruments have arpeggiators and pattern sequencer within the GUI, mainly to drive percussion instruments, yet not all of them have a midi out capability.

What do you do with the midi out? Do you drive other instruments? Do you modify the grooves so to have some variety? Let's talk!

I particulary like the Spotlight titles. For instance India with the Percussion Ensamble, where you change the pattern "complexity", feel and intensity, it drags the midi to the DAW. Then if it has midi in the daw, it plays that (and not the loop in the GUI), very clever. I can do modifications! Then I drag my modified midi back to the India midi library, in a directory that I make in explorer, say "My Ones" alongside the Factory MIDI files, and India sees them in its internal browser!! I can also call 12 loops "01 xxx", "02 xxx" etc and substitute them one by one to a snapshot, save the snapshot as a user snapshot and have it assigned to my favourite realtime controller to change pattern realtime. I'm so happy about this, why Mallet Flux or Riff Generator are not like that???
