How do I link a specific midi track to a specific instrument in Kontakt?

I'm a relative newbie to Kontakt, so this is probably a very basic question.

Using Reaper, I have loaded Kontakt 8 onto Track 1 and added two instruments to it (call them Instr 1 and Instr 2). Tracks 2 and 3 are both midi tracks onto which I have written some notes. I want Instr 1 to play only the notes on Track 2, and Instr 2 to play only the notes on Track 3, but can't work out how to achieve this routing.

Or is my setup totally wrong?

Thanks for the quick response. In my question, I used two instruments in the example in order to simplify it, and your suggestion works fine. In my project, however, I'll have over 20 instruments/articulations, and my fear was that so many instances of Kontakt will be heavy on CPU usage.

I've since discovered that I have to use Reaper's 'Route' button on each midi track to send it to the track containing Kontakt and its instruments; I then use the Kontakt track's 'Route' button to 'Add new receive' for each midi track I sent, and send it to Channel 1 for Instr 1, Channel 2 for Instr 2, and so on.

Kind of obvious when you know how, but not exactly intuitive, and I assume it's a similar process for other DAWs. Anyway, thanks again for your help. This was my first Community post and I'm sure I'll need to use it again!
