Logic Pro misbehaving after loading Konkact 8 and Komplete Kontrol

I recently purchased NI Komplete Collector's Edition and NI's S61 mk3 controller. Everything downloaded fine. I have a good connection between the controller and Apple Logic Pro 11 DAW. But since connecting, Logic Pro is misbehaving in three ways (so far): (1) When dragging the playhead, it is now audibly scrubbing the audio even though scrubbing is turned off. (2) after dragging the playhead which now scrubs the audio, it often leaves a note sounding. (3) The cycle (Loop) function no longer works. Even when Loop is activated (whether using Logic controls or the S61 "Loop" button), Logic ignores the instruction. It won't loop. I did find a duplicate entry for the S61 in the control surfaces page in Logic, which I deleted. I've made sure all software is up to date. I made sure Logic, Kontrol 8 and Komplete Kontrol all have full disk access. Would appreciate help on this. Thanks.
