Probably one solution is switch to USB2 port instead of USB3.

    Can you explain in more detail?

    Do you mean the actual MIDI keys do not produce any sound when played but the control's are operating the instrument?

    Is this using Komplete Kontrol?

    Is this the desktop version of KK or are you using a DAW?

    What OS are you on?

    What instrument are you loading?

    Have you checked your MIDI preferences to make sure the keyboard is selected as a MIDI input?

    Yes , in Cubase (MacOS() for example it can comunicate like transport manager and operate on the komplete kontrol plugin (knobs , page selector, all istruments load) BUT keyboard NOT play any notes.
    I have an usb3 to pci-e adapter. When I switch to a free USB 2 port , it come back to work completely without any configuration changes.

    Post screenshots of the MIDI preferences in Cubase, specifically showing the MIDI input configuration, sounds like the input is not selected for the keyboard.
