Kontakt 8 Player (8.4.1) coming up as not compatible with Logic 11.2

It's suddenly not working for me, and in plug-in manager is displayed as not compatible? I've tried reinstalling. I may have to go back to an older version of Logic but wondering if anyone else has encountered this issue?

Thanks

Try running a scan just on that one plugin in Logic Plugin manager - it should be working fine

That is odd - here's how it is for me on the same versions - didn't even raise an issue on the first scan for me - I guess we need more details of your exact system

Ah I think I see what's happening - normally in situations like this where a plugin has failed a scan, unless there is a really major issue (which there can't be as it is working for most people) reset and rescan fixes it. Problem is it looks like that function is broken in this Logic release - just try any plugin and run it and it just scans for maybe a second then says 'done' - but there's no activity log as usual and it doesn't seem to be doing anything. Might have to wait for Apple to fix that (I've asked a question about this in the Apple community) but maybe try the global au reset which forces a complete rescan of all AUs from scratch (unless that isn't working properly either).

Thanks for your insight, it seems like not even the full reset button works, actually!

Definitely needs fixing and no doubt it will.
