Session instruments: Can you delete the pattern and loop instruments and data?
Hello,
so for years I've been hesitant to install most of the "Session" instruments - I'm very interested in the playable instruments, not at all in patterns and loops. Which take up most of the expensive SSD space. So I was just thinking:
Can you specifically delete the portion of a "Session" instrument that's for loops and patterns? Let's take "Prime Bass" - there are two separate Kontakt patches, one for loops, one "melodic". How would you go about deleting the former without creating errors and issues?
If anybody from NI is listening, maybe you wanna consider giving people an options menu when they install an instrument via Native Access. Komplete has become absolutely huge, SSD sizes have not kept up, and I'd bet there's a considerable part of your users that are not looking for loops. You could help them shaving off hundreds of GB of dead weight from their SSDs.
Thank you :)

… or am I fundamentally mistaken and the readymade loops are all using the same single note multisamples as the melodic instruments? I can't fathom how "Electric Mint" got to a size of 15GB.
