Moving the keyboard range in Kontakt 8.

I have an SL73 keyboard and installed the great bass from Blue Print yesterday.
Unfortunately, I couldn't play the lowest notes, as I'm missing some keys in the lowest range.
So I went into the sound editing in Kontakt 8, and transposed the keyboard input by -12.
That worked for the low notes, but at the same time, I also lost the upper octave in the sound. The bass has a range of 3 octaves, but after moving the lowest range up an octave on my keyboard, the sound was limited to only 2 octaves.
