Like so many others I have had serious issues loading Komplete Kontrol either as a standalone app or inside a DAW. I searched google without any serious explanation or fix so I started to looked deeper into my computers services for some answers. As with all others complaining this happens during the VST scan stage

When loading Komplete Kontrol you will find this background app running

Task manager - processes -ni-plugin-info.exe

There appears to be 5 separate instances and all should be updating by the second, if not and I found all of mine had hung and therefore stopped so I ended the task of one or two until the loading process started up again watching until it finally opened. On restarting the app it now takes less than a minute.

@stewart hannah @Aurasic It's the replacement for the scan app application that used to scan all the plugins of Komplete Kontrol or Maschine. Once the scan was made once and scanning all the plug-ins, it should be fine, it's normal if the first one is a bit longer. Please report if it gets stuck or if you have regular issues with it.

    Well, not really.

Once it is finished… you see n/n… you have to shut ni-plugin-info.exe off from Task Manager (PC)… etc. for Mac.
I just did the VST2 and had to do the same, now I know, I will do that until it is actually fixed.
    Thanks
