KK 3.5.0 hangs on Wave Shell at plugin scans

I updated to 3.5.0 hoping the hanging issue with 3.41 would be resolved; it is not.
My KK hangs on Wave Shell (at the very end of all my plugin scans) and will not open. It is unusable at this point. 😝

What version of Waves are you running?

Do you have lots of Waves plugins? When Komplete Kontrol scan Waves Shell, the latter will then pass all Waves plugins one by one to the NI plugin scanner for scanning. However, it will not display the Waves plugin names—just the Waves Shell name—so it may appear that it hangs.
You have to understand Waves plugin architecture; most of their plugins are coded like modules with Wave Shells being the wrapper or module loader and execution.
As such, if you have lots of Waves plugins, just be patient and wait for the plugin scan to complete. Do note that there are usually more than one Waves Shells, so after scanning one Waves Shell, it will then do the next. After Komplete Kontrol complete plugin scanning, it will not scan again until the next Waves updates on Waves Shells.

I'm also having same issue since updating to KK 3.5.0 on Windows 10.
I have the WAVES Mercury Bundle, plus the other odd plugin and some date back to older versions of the shell and been waiting over 15 minutes for scan most times I open KK on a new day (25mins today and counting), which feels too long compared to previous versions of KK.
As you can no longer see what it is KK scanning I can't be sure if it is scanning or just stuck, even when viewing Task Manager. So since 3.5.0. I have been ending the task and after several attempts KK 3.5.0 loads. I had similar issues with Arturia Spark since 3..5.0, even removing it from Scan in settings it still attempted to scan it on start up.

Update to post above and looking at info on NI site, I have deleted three files from the KK folder in the Users App Data Path and although still not liking Arturia Spark appears to be ok, as I did have issue this morning with KK 3.5.0. not even loading apps e.g. Ashlight and Massive. All good now, for the moment!

@Sempai45 You can press the ESC key while Komplete Kontrol is loading to end the scanning. Please try resetting the database of Komplete Kontrol:
Reinitialize the Komplete Kontrol Database
- Note: The "AppData" folder is hidden. See this article for instructions to access hidden Windows folders.
- Search through the Native Instruments folder at this location to find the Komplete Kontrol folder.
- Note: Deleting other NI product folders could result in unexpected behavior with other applications.
- Reopen the Komplete Kontrol software to check that the issue has been resolved.
If that doesn't help, can you share this file?
Please click the Windows start button and put
%temp%
in the search bar, and then open the folderThen search for
Komplete Kontrol.log
orMaschine 3.log
Zip the file and attach it here or by email if getting in touch with our support.

Looking at the log file I get the following at the very top.
"--------- Logfile created
initSIMD
Exception when initializing SIMD library: SIMD DLL not found C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Komplete Kontrol\MaschineLibAVX2_x64.dll
Using MaschineLibAVX"but not sure if that's relevant?
The other error I see is "Scanning plugin Analog Lab V timed out" so perhaps Analog Lab is the culprit? Weird that it loads fine in 3.3.4..

Well, if we asked for this log file, it's to give it to our Q&A and devs, so please zip it and post it, so we can forward it to them and they can see what's going on and possibly fix the issue.
