Traktor Audio 8 in 2025?

A deal on a Traktor audio 8 has come up in my town ($75 CAD). I am considering buying it for use with my turntables and Omnitronic TRM 202 MK3 mixer. This would allow me to flip back and forth between playing traktor DVS records and regular Vinyl during my set.

I am wondering if there is any sort of support for Traktor Audio 8 remaining? I cannot see it listed under controller manager devices. I am running windows 11 currently. Let me know if it would be worth buying or if it will be useless at this point because of the lack of support!

NI still offers the drivers for download. But the latest Windows driver is from 2013! As it is marked for Windows 7 and 8 I cannot promise it will work with Windows 11 but read some reports of it working here.

It won‘t work with macOS (newer than 10.11) though.

For its age I wouldn‘t recommend Audio 8 in 2025 anymore. If the drivers won‘t work with any newer Windows there won‘t be any updates.

Did you buy it and test it? There's a deal in my city too, but i want to know if it would also work on a ipad mini 6 besides win11, i want to output 4 st channels to an a&h xone:62

Audio 8DJ won‘t work with iOS or iPadOS as it needs its own drivers to work. And you cannot install those on iPads and iPhones. It isn’t not class compliant.

For use with an iPad you need a Traktor Audio 10. Traktor Audio 6 would work as well but offers only up to three stereo channels.
