TP4 latest version track deck locks

Hi All, I know that there was an aged old bug whereby the track decks lock and won't let you load a new track; but whilst performing recently I experienced a new problem whereby deck A would lock up and not play. It would allow me to jump hot cues, and load new tracks, but despite the play button indicating play - the waveform just stuck.

I changed the track and the same problem occurred, and repeated process with a number of different tracks, so it couldn't have been due to the track mp3 being faulty/corrupt.

I switched the deck between track/remix/live in a hope to clear the problem - but every time on track deck the waveform did not play.

The only way to rectify was to restart TP4; not ideal in a gig as I had to ask the venue to switch back to house sound system for 5 minute while I restarted TP4.

I did use deck C for a little time, but muscle memory on the mixer kept failing me. I normally only DJ with two decks.

I'm using an M2 8GB latest version of apple MacBook with plenty of SSD HD space available

Is this a known bug NI?

Can you devise a widget that allows Traktor to keep playing out audio through the S4 while TP4 is rebooted?

This is just impossible: While TP4 reboots TP4 isn't running. If it isn't running Traktor cannot play any audio out.

But as the S4 is an audio interface you can use any other application on your Mac to play out audio through your S4. As an emergency measure Apples Music app is maybe all you need.

Another option (at least with S4 Mk3) is using an external audio source and your S4 in standalone mixer mode.
