Setting the color of individual notes on Kontrol S61 MK3 Light Guide

MIDI Templates brought us the ability to have different colors per keyzone to Kontrol S61 MK3 Light Guide.

I would love, however, to go one level deeper and set up the color of individual notes. As I am creating a MIDI Template for Ample Sound, I cannot currently achieve what is illustrated in this screenshot from their documentation, zone 23:

AS.png

AS maps strumming patterns to sharps (painted red above) and strumming articulations (painted gray) within the same octave, and it super useful to have them in different colors. Also, I would have loved to have different color or shades for the open strings. The keyzone color feature is insufficient to achieve both.

Is setting the color of individual notes in the Light Guide on the roadmap for Kontrol mk3? If not, can that be added as a feature request?

Cheers,

Incidentally - one slightly preposterous workaround would be to allow more than 16 keyzones. I understand that to some degree the choice of 16 is to match the number of MIDI channels, but leaving it here FWIW.

+1 as a feature request. I was trying to do the exact same thing as the OP and ran into the 16 keyzone limit.

Are we able to increase the upper limit to 32?
