IK Multimedia Hammond B3 1.3.5 w/NKS

So I recently updated my Hammond B3 plugin to 1.3.5, which improved loading times by removing the startup screen when instantiating the plugin for the first time. I chose not to install the standalone this time only AU/VST3 (though not sure that's relevant at all) and I am using the same VST3 NKS files I used previously from the user community (which worked fine I might add).

Strangely, when I load the plugin in Komplete Kontrol now the macros show values in the software, but something has bugged out on the s49 mk2 hardware making it show what I think are Chinese symbols for values. They seem to do nothing and appear and disappear randomly. I wondered if anybody else had experienced anything similar before. It doesn't affect any of my other plugin devices it seems.
