These messages look a bit odd. Especially the "soldier" one.

What are you running in Kontakt vs your actual available memory?

"What are you running in Kontakt vs your actual available memory?"

Sorry - I dont understand the question. Are you asking what libraries are loaded? Or how much mem is being used before/after?

That message has been in Kontakt since at last K5 - I'm assuming it's one of those "developer" things that they don't expect to be shown often.

Yes. This message must be coming up for some reason.

Like you have 4GB of RAM and are trying to load a Kontakt library that needs 6GB.

What is the installed memory of your machine?

    What OS are your running?

    What version of Kontakt?

And what library is giving you this message?

1- Case is more than obvious. You do not have sufficient memory in your computer.

2- You can not disable such critical messages from any application.

3- Solution is also obvious: Add more memory to your computer.

I suspect that you are probably with an old laptop with 8 or less GB of memory?

She (assuming from user name) is on Windows 11 (from user's profile) with Kontakt 7 (from this post)… 😊

He is on W11 with K7. Laptop with 16 GB RAM, over a network. I am going to add more RAM.

In the meantime, I was hoping to shut off that message, to allow me to work, as the message pops up OVER K and gets in the way of me working. If I close those error dialoges, all is fine. I just don't want to have to get up and walk into the other room to do it every time I load a project, until I add more RAM. Thank you for the help.

ok, so, he it is (sorry)!

That said, 16 GB is basically good for running Kontakt. I also have 16 GB (but zero memory problems). But this depends on the use you do.

So i assume that your issue has to do either with the network (working over network can be tricky), either that you are loading an enormous amount of Kontakt instruments. I don't know how you use it, but if you have issues you need to low your expectations (load less instruments), until you add more memory at least. Unfortunately there is no way to disable those messages.

Sunborn - thanks, and no need to apologize. Am upping to 32GB - 16 was enough until a few days ago; not sure what happened all of a sudden. It's just for some overflow, until I build a more powerful desktop.
