Library shows, but KK plugin thinks it is empty

Hi,

I have full access to my plugins in KK standalone. NA shows everything as OK.

When I use KK as a plugin, the library on the lefthandside shows my NI Komplete products. But the main area righthandside in the KK plugin says it seems my library is empty and suggests a scan. When I click that, nothing happens. I re-initialized the database by deleting the two suggested files as per a knowledge base article. Same situation as before. KK standalone loads (as an example) Massive X properly. KK plugin in my DAW (Reaper) shows a full library, but thinks I have nothing installed.

How can I make the plugin know what it knows in standalone?

What happens if you launch the standalone KK application?

Also, have you specifically made a decision to stick with KK V2.x? It's a valid decision, I too do not use KK V3 but just wondering because most people that don't have a reason will simply just update to the latest so if your standalone version of KK has a different appearance due to being v3 then the plugin version is older and this would be the issue especially since you are on Windows, likely you still have the VST2 version of KK installed and are using that in your DAW. Usually this issue is due to mismatch in version between the plugin you are loaading up and the actual version of KK installed (the plugin is older than the actual KK version)

As I wrote, I have full access to everything in standalone. It's only in KK Plugin where this occurs.

I haven't made any concsious decision to keep an older version. On the contrary, I updated everything as suggested by Native Access, that's why I wrote that NA shows everything as OK.

I will check the version number of KK and report back. I am not sure if the plugin and the standalone version are actually listed separately in Native Access, though. Isn't that just one entry?

P.S. also, this isnt about appearances. The versions and as a matter of fact the contents of the library in the browser pane look the same, but only in standalone can I actually load the stuff.
