Kontakt Player 8 MIDI Audio setting issues with hardware synth

Hi all,

I use Kontakt Player 8 with the Yamaha MODX hardware synth and Yamaha Steinberg USB ASIO. Driver is ASIO. OS is Windows 11. So I can play Vst with the MODX. But I wish to add effects from the MODX to the Vst in Kontakt player. For this purpose I have to set the Outputs from the Vst to "Digital L+R" and not "Main L+R". Such options exist in Vsts like Arturia. But in Kontakt Player there is only the option to switch the Outputs "On" or "Off". Thers no option to set "Digital L+R" or "Main L+R". Anyone using Kontakt Player 8 or older versions with Yamaha MODX or Yamaha Montage and can add effects from the hardware synth to the Vst in Kontakt? Or someone can help with a more general solution how to set the MIDI Outputs in Kontakt for this purpose?

I'm not sure to understand what you are trying to achieve here. If you want to have Kontakt instruments affected by external hardware effects you would need to connect audio cables from your soundcard to the device. Maybe some more details on yor setup could help, screenshots or pics are welcome!
