Why are lights and led-screen continuously blinking on Kontrol A49?

Since a few days lights under knobs are continuously blinking on my Komplete A49. Also, the little led-screen keeps changing as if there is some input. I have no DAW or anything audio opened, it just starts the moment the PC is turned on.

Anyone any idea what might cause this and what would resolve it?

    Yeah, that resolved it: plugged right into the PC instead of via the hub.

    Sounds like either a bad USB cable or hardware failure… try a new cable first, if no change, contact Hardware Support!

    also, if connected through a USB hub, try plugging directly into the computer!
