Midi record do not start at cursor position

I am struggling a long time with this. When I start a record at a certain position (lets say bar 25), and hit Record on my S88mk3, Cubase will create a new event from the very beginning (bar 1 or from the end of a earlier event on that track). I have used my default settings, but nothing will help.

This has to do with positioning your recording head on your track. Refer to your manual to make sure you're setting it correctly in Cubase before you begin recording on the S88MK3.
