KOMPLETE KONTROL 3.4.1 NOT SCANNING MY VST2 PLUGINS AND DISPLAY ISSUES

Hey guys, how are you doin?

I recently update from KK 2.9.6 to KK 3.4.1, since looks like NI solve the issue with KK3 and REAPER.
But I'm facing a weird issue, none of my VST2 plugins is showing inside KK.

I already marked the checkbox "Use VST2 plugins" and add my VST2 folder in the path to scan.
I even deleted the KK folder (with database and settings) in AppData Windows folder, and reinstall the app from scratch, and make it rescan on standalone mode and I'm getting only VST3 plugins list, in instruments and effects.

I use a lot of Absynth inside KK, and Absynth don't have a VST3 version.
This problem is not happening with 2.9.6 version, so I had to downgraded again.

Besides this, I noticed a strange visual issue when running Arturia plugins inside KK 3.4.1, with Windows 125% zoom Scaling 1920x1080 display. The interface becomes unusable and completely blurred. This issue not ocurr when I'm at 100% zoom display at Windows.

Someone has noticed one of this problems nesta versão?

    Hi.

So I too have Absynth, and it's my only VST2…everything else is VST3.

What I have done is to remove all VST2 folders from KK and from my DAWs, so as to avoid the situation where I might be getting the VST2 version when the VST3 version is really the one I want.

I have one VST2 folder now. It has Absynth in it and nothing else. I point all of my installers (Native Access, Arturia, etc.) to "fake" VST2 folders. They are fake because they are not used for Ableton Live, Komplete Kontrol, Maschine, or Cubase. They're just there for the installers to have a place to write the VST2 DLL files without having trouble or crashing.

So yep. I have one single VST3 library folder (the one that gets automatically created) and now only one VST2 folder.

Everything else is GNDN, like all the pipes were labeled in the original Star Trek TV Show. "GNDN" stands for "Goes Nowhere, Does Nothing". 😏

There have been a few posts about issues with KK V3 and windows scaling, basically it doesn't work so keep your OS scaling to 100% to save on this issue if you can, no word on a fix as yet.

Assuming your VST path is set correctly, have you tried clicking the path in the preferences then clicking rescan? I think I have seen aa few people having issues iwtht he latest KK and scanning VSts. Honestly KK is still what I would consider Beta because it keeps releasing with more issues than it addresses and still has missing features and issues from release that V2 doesn't have. I'm in the camp that suggests what ain't broke don't "upgrade", if you don't have an MK3 then KK V3 currently offers little to update for really.
