Kontakt 8 doesn't tell you *what* is missing, when there's missing content

I'm running a PC as well as a Laptop (for at home), and try to have all the same plugins and libraries on both systems, to open the same projects from either location.
This works great normally.
Lately if there's a library missing on the laptop, when opening a project created on the desktop — it just is blank. No indicator of which library. This is super dangerous as we can save this "blanked" version of the project and lose the instrument forever.

You might mention what DAW you are using and what the error message is - exactly (Screencap would be very helpful).
Because if - as you say - the plugins and libraries are in fact identical on both systems - then it should not be possible to be missing anything.
