Sorry, I forgot to mention it's in the user library. Accessing the Hidden User Library (macOS)
Apply the steps mentioned above.

Ok, that worked, deleting "com.apple.logic10.plist" . Although the only way I could access that file, was through the instructions in " If Logic Pro for Mac isn't working - Apple Support " link, step 13.
Moved the file to trash, rebooted the whole system, but then also when Logic rebooted it prompted to load new updates. Once it fired up, a whole new interface for opening a project. Everything works fine now.
In the many attempts of (who knows what I've tried for the last several days) never got a prompt to update. I did look for a way to update but only found information to check in the "app store" to check for updates (none prompted)?
Thanks so much for your support

What happens if you open Komplete Kontrol in standalone, are all the keys functional?
If it's only in Logic, it's definitely a Logic setting, check your MIDI settings & assignments. You can also eset Logic to default:
- Open Finder
- Click the GO menu at the top of the screen.
- Hold down the OPTION key to reveal the Library option in the menu, and select it.
- In the window that appears, navigate to the following places and move these files to the Trash.
- MacHD / Users / Admin / Library / Preferences / com.apple.logic10.plist

In K.K. standalone all is good, yes Logic only. I Searched for the file you mentioned to no avail.
I found a Temporary Fix - on an Apple Community site
In Logic " Choose Logic Pro X > Control Surfaces > Bypass All Control Surfaces "
I say temporary since I have to trigger that command every time I log onto Logic?
Crazy stuff here, I'm new to DAW, as a student of music, finding that DAW is harder than Music itself ?
Would be nice to have a more permanent fix ? Thanks for your input.
