was told to put instruments on external drive but told path is invalid

hi all,

Trying to figure this out. My assumption was that because I'm just using a free bundle/download of NI to start, this may be my issue?

In Native Access, I've downloaded the plugins and have my download location/application location/content location preferences saved. was told to save download location And content location to a hard drive. However, with the exception of the acoustic drums which seemed to save fine to my external SSD, nothing else is saving there/installing, and It reads in red 'That path is invalid, please read how to fix this.'

reading 'how to fix this' doesn't help this. I know the answer must be obvious and someone knows how to solve this?

No , that should not have anything to do with that.

nothing else is saving there/installing, and It reads in red 'That path is invalid, please read how to fix this.'

Please check this article to see if any of it helps , in particularly give full Disk access to all N.I. apps including NTKDaemon , and check disk format : "Path is invalid" showing in Native Access

Also : quote Kymeia : if using Sequoia then N.I. apps must be added to the Local Network

thanks. any idea why to the local network? do I need to have wifi on while using? prefer not.

I did give full disk access. maybe I should uninstall/reinstall

The local network thing is a new security requirement in Sequoia, to be clear it is not changing anything other than asking permission to do what it previously did without asking.

However I don’t think that is the issue here. What format is your external drive?
