Will expansions such as System Clash work with free version of Kontakt 8?

I just started using Kontakt in pro tools and I'm looking for new instruments and loops. I'm thinking about getting an expansion, but I want to make sure it will work with what I've got. I'm hoping to not have to buy/upgrade Kontakt. Will this work?

Thanks

All Native Instruments Kontakt expansions work with the Player, and all the third party expansions sold on the NI web site will also work. It tends to be the third party expansions that are sold on other web sites that need the full version, and they usually state in the product blurb if that's the case.

Products like System Clash weren't originally designed for Kontakt, but as @BJQ1972 says the loops and samples can be loaded into Leap if you don't have Maschine

Most of the expansions consist of Battery and Maschine kits, and some synth patches, which won't work on Kontakt. You'd need Maschine, Battery, Massive, Monark and Reaktor Prism to be able to use everything.

The Loops and One Shots will work in either version of Kontakt 8 though.
