It's been a while since I posted about my Kontakt vocal sample libraries. I had a lot of suggestions for improvement and I've done a lot of work to make these instruments sound better and be more functional.

You can download free versions (Ariana Intro and Artenor Intro), which give you an idea of the sound quality and the basic functionality - the drawback with the free instruments is that they have a reduced vocal range.

But if you're interested, you can look at the videos at my site. They give you a pretty good idea of what this project is about.

I welcome feedback and comments. This is a project I've worked on for ten years.. Although it was only about a year ago when I started transporting this for the Kontakt sampler. It has been a big study into phonetics and how the human voice works - so it's very far from prompting an AI music app to do everything for you, but never get exactly what you want.

It's also been a huge dive into KSP… The Singer versions have three different scripts (plus one preset), the main script (SylBuilder) has 2500 lines of code. And it's not just that… There are three separate apps outside Kontakt to translate text files and MIDI melodies (even exported from notation software, with lyrics) into special MIDI files that carry the lyrics data into your DAW.

One thing I never got right is the scaling of the graphic UI in Kontakt. It is supposed to be 100% without any scaling, but it still scales the original image up which reduces the image quality (all the control positions refer to the original image dimensions and work - everything just gets scaled up). Any hints?
