Strange Behavior of 4x4 Maschine Controllers After Update 3.1

Hello Maschine heads, 😉

I'm experiencing strange behavior with 4x4 Maschine controllers after the latest update (latest Sequoia, M1 base MacBook Air). Everything works fine when the Mikro Mk3 and Jam are connected. However, when I try to create my own user chords (BTW, it seems that the Mikro Mk3 can only access pre-made user chords), I run into an issue.

I decided to disconnect the Jam and connect the Maschine Plus in controller mode. After that, one of the Maschine controllers is automatically forced into MIDI mode instead of Maschine mode. When I switch the Mikro Mk3, the Maschine Plus automatically switches to MIDI mode, and vice versa—when I switch the Plus, the Mikro is forced into MIDI mode.

If anyone has a similar setup (Mac + all controllers), could you check if this happens to you as well? In my opinion, this might be a bug.

BTW: If you create only one chord in user chord mode, you can retrieve the JSON file, ask GPT for cool chords, attach the file—and guess what? GPT can generate chords for Maschine. Amazing! Hahaha.

Hey @Jeremy_NI maybe you can forward this to dev team. Thanks.

@AdelV Well, I'm afraid it's not a bug. Only Maschine Jam and one other Maschine controller can be really used together. Maschine Jam has different layout and functions, it was made to complement the other Maschine controllers. Now for the other devices, there can only be one controlling the software at the same time., so this is why you experience this. Not sure if you need a Mikro MK3 anymore btw! I hope I've been clear enough. Let me know.

OK, maybe I didn't notice this before—I have two Maschine setups: a computer-based one with Mikro and JAM, and a standalone one with Plus. Besides that, everything looks fine. Of course, this would be much nicer if the Mikro had the ability to create user chords too (or maybe I missed something again).

Anyway, thanks for the accurate and fast response as always!
