Hi there,
just found an funny issue.. Has anyone a solution for this?
Please check attached screenshot
I installed Serum 2 and opened in Maschine 3 and the GUI is upside down. When I start clicking around the buttons still seem to be mapped to the correct location (the keys will play on the bottom of the Serum window). I opened Serum 2 in Bitwig and not having this issue. I also notice that with some VST plugins the GUI will be all over the place, but often by resizing the window it will correct itself. Anyone experience anything like this? 🤔
I think it's a beta so probably best ask the serum devs
You are not alone - looks like bigger problem with Maschine and Serum 2: https://community.native-instruments.com/discussion/43509/serum-2-gui-upside-down-m1-mac-studio
just wondering because on Maschine 2.0 it Works Fine
Maschine 3 has a lot of small issues that need to be fixed. The update was rushed, resulting in new bugs. Fingers crossed that they’ll be addressed in the upcoming 3.1 update.
Don’t forget Serum 2 just came out today and is in beta so maybe wasn’t tested in some environments? Worth feeding back to their developer too, might be easier to fix their end.
same issue here…
3.1 is out now but not sure if this is addressed as Serum only came out today (unless the bug was a by product of other things that were fixed)
3.1 didn't address the Serum upside-down UI. Have to say that's the first time I've seen anything like that happen since a prank we played with a CRT in the 80s. But that's another story 😂 You can still click where the keyboard should be at the bottom so it seems like the mouse co-ordinates are correct but the rendering has flipped the Y axis.
Same here.
No such issues in Ableton 12, Logic, Reaper or Cubase so it's definitively a Maschine V3 problem.
.
I had this same issue and just loaded it up as an audio unit and have no issues yet.
Interesting, I didn't think to try AU cos I tend to stick to VSTs.
Serum 2 is updated - fixes this bug
it is still uside down for me after them serum 2 update .. is there something else im suposed ot do other than re install serurm 2?
It just worked for me - first thing I checked after updating - maybe it's only fixed on Mac (I'm on Sequoia)? Funny that the changelog didn't mention it
