Reloop rp-8000 mk2 + Z2 traktor

Setup:
1 single reloop rp-8000 mk2 turntable
1 z2 traktor control mixer
+Traktor v3 latest update
Use of setup: DVS+ANALOG VINYL

I would like to know:

-Should I plug the reloop rp-8000 into the "phono" input or into the "line" input of the Z2 mixer? Which is the best connection between the two for optimum latency response during timecode scratching?

-to use the rp-8000's midi I can connect

the rp-8000's usb cable to the z2(usb) mixer or only to the PC? (Do the Z2 mixer's usb connections communicate the rp-8000's midi to the traktor PC?)

Which usb is best for optimum latency and timecode performance with rp-8000?

I don't expect much difference between using line or phono inputs. The signal has to pass through a phono preamp both ways. If it is inside the turntable or the mixer shouldn't make much difference. Best is to try yourself which solution works better for you. I would more expect a difference in sound quality while using analog vinyl than a difference in latency - if at all. With timecode it shouldn't matter at all.

The USB-A ports on Kontrol Z2 are an USB hub, you can connect your RP-8000 Mk2 to that and the MIDI signals will get to your computer. As they pass through the Z2 there should be a bit more latency compared to a direct USB connection between RP-8000 and your PC but I doubt you'll notice a difference.

I can agree with everything @maniacintosh81 says. The only thing I might add would be to consider whether the phono preamp in the Reloop RP8000mk2 or the one in the Z2 is better. In other words, whether it makes an audible difference for you if you feed the phono signal directly into the Z2 or if you convert it beforehand on the Reloop.

OK, anyway I understand that for you both dvs performance with timecode does not differ between using the turntable in phono or line connection, it's just a matter of audio quality to evaluate, but not a matter of software performance...

    Thanks
