All of the videos I have seen have the "Import TSI" drop down, which the latest Traktor doesn't have. I would like to use the F1 as a pattern player step sequencer.
I think I had a default setting wrong. It fixed itself! But thank you for the response!
Preferences → Controller Manager → (line under 'device' dropdown) Add.
You can find the step sequencers there. There are four different ones, 1 for each deck. They are USER mappings, so you can switch with SHIFT+BROWSE between the factory mapping (normal remix controls) and custom USER mapping. Select USER mapping option instead of MIDI option in the F1 panel at the bottom left to make this switching work.
Thank you for responding…..and yes, I have been able to get that far, however the videos I have seen have "Import TSI" as the bottom selection of that dropdown (the ADD dropdown). However the new version of Traktor doesn't have that as an option.
The new menu has 4 submenus when you press ADD. I think the 3rd is for manual import, the others load pre-designed mappings (sorted by trademark). There are two for Native Instruments. One is for factory mappings, the second for user mappings.
Click ADD and look around the submenus.
When I press Shift and Browse on the F1, nothing happens. The pads turn blue, but nothing is triggerable. No sounds
Please make two screenshots.
Post them here.
That worked!! Thank you very much!!

What did you do to solve the problem? Or rather, can you describe what you did wrong or what you missed? This is so that somebody with the same problem has a way to solve it.
-Multiple mappings installed.
-Not in User Mode.
-No mapping installed.
-Not assigned at In/Out port.
One of the above^ please add other ideas if any.
