How's the startup time now? Last time I tried it it took almost a full minute to start, while NA1 takes about 5 seconds.

    With 2.0.6 it's still slow.

I had hoped the user location setting would be a bit more selective, I do want my sample based libraries to be on one of my SSDs, but I have found NA also installs things like Massive X sound packs there which is not ideal - there really needs to be separate content options for sample based and preset expansions.

Much nicer experience - looking forward to the sales & partner menu items appearing.

Very good, installed on Intel Mac without any problems. Thank you, NI 😍

And there is M1 native version available, too. 🤩

Well I've tried to install and it hangs during dependency installation on a Mac Studio. I tried the shell script but that didn't do anything to help.

I like it. It's not better or worse than NA 1, but, I have a positive impression about it.

I hope that it will work better than NA 1 though, I had my fair share of trouble with it... from showing the same update multiple times, even though I already installed it, to updates failing, to plugins losing registration etc.

Yeah. Unfortunately, the problem regarding update failures is still happening (at least here), which is really frustrating now. For products that fail to update, most do, you need to delete the registries using the "NI Uninstall RegTool_64bit.exe" tool and then reinstall it again from Native Access.

I hope NI is working on fixing this on highest priority.

Sadly 2 is worse than 1.

    -Slower start up

-Not fixed essential inconvenience of update failure(instead we get better GUI)

-New bug, install not failed but stuck forever(restart App does not fix stuck)

    -App freezes and whiteout

-Manual update became inconvenient when 1 failed update there were installer left in download folder

then I could manually update them but now 2 removes installer instantly.

OMG we are still in typical nightmare of computer music though its 2022.

Sadly this is another of those typical NI 'upgrades' that actually feels more like a downgrade.

NI can you please kick out the bean counters and start being innovative again?

You might find it's slowest the first launch, though mine is never speedy

I can't see my Spitfire audio libraries on NA 2?

Mine claims I have no internet constantly. Wonder how I am posting to the forum while it still says I am not connected.

Also: Whoever thought, it was a good idea to uninstall my existing licensed Traktor when installing Pro Plus: *****???
