Kontakt 8 not showing played notes on light guide on S61 mk3

Hello, in the past, whenever I would play a MIDI part in on a Kontakt/Komplete Kontrol track, it would show the keys pressed on the light guide on my S61 MK3. Now it doesn't do that and I don't know why. I even checked a Komplete Kontrol track and it doesn't work. Any thoughts on how I can get this back? FYI I'm in Cubase 14 pro, using Kontakt 8.

Thanks. It looks like a restart is all I need. Plus I took it off play assist mode and it worked :)

What instrument are you using?

Not all instruments loaded in K8/KKv3 allow (or feature) Light Guide.

@Vocalpoint It's always worked for me up until this point. I don't think it's library-specific, it's just a keyboard feature. I tried it with all of my NI plugins, along with other brands. I used to record a midi part in, and then upon playback, see the keys light up based on the notes I played. Kind of the whole point of this keyboard since I can't always remember what I played in.

@esimone00 I've just tried it out with Kontakt 8.2 and Cubase 14 on a Mac, it's working without me setting anything special. What's your operating system? Mac? Pc?

Well - I can confirm without any doubt that I have specific libraries that can be used within KK and do not give me any Light Guide at all. I am using KK v2.9.6 with a S61 MKII over here right now.

Ok, so do Kontakt, Komplete Kontrol, Cubase and the Hardware Connection Service have full disk access? How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

If you open Komplete Kontrol in standalone, what is selected as MIDI input and MIDI output?

@Jeremy_NI I tested it out with Ableton and it works just fine. It looks like it's a Cubase issue then.
