I am only getting a 'Scratchy Muffled' playback

I have been given a TRAKTOR KONROL S2 as a present and I have been trying to get it set up on my sound system at home. I was plugging in via RCA's into a Cambridge Audio Air 200 Bluetooth speaker, t was muffled and quiet, so I used a per-Amp. The same muffle sound, just louder.

Thinking this might my speaker, I have since tried it 2 other, more robust amplifier and speaker set-ups and I am still getting the same issues. Is this a fault, or a problem with my Traktor Kontrol set up? Any advice warmly welcome please.

Do you hear anything through monitor? What's your output routing?

I can only hear a very low cracked and muffled sound. I am routing the sound through L & R RCA's into a speaker, via a preamp. However, I have tested this on 2 other systems, through an Amp, into speakers.

It feels more like a TRAKTOR hardware set-up or fault, although the MP3's play fine straight from laptop into the same speakers

Hmm. What does it sound like if you use one of the nonRCA outputs.
