Claire Piano crashing in Cubase 13

I'm on a Mac mini, running OS 14.4.01. I've never had any crashes like this before - if I load Claire into Komplete Kontrol, it will crash Cubase intermittently. I've tried shorter and longer buffer settings. I have no idea what part of Claire is causing it - but it's happened 3 times and it's catastrophic, causing my machine to immediately shut off and reboot.

Anyone else seeing crashes like this? Claire is a great sounding piano - but this is no good….

    It seems like it is Komplete Kontrol crashing - or Kontakt 8 in Komplete Kontrol - maybe not the piano itself…

    I realize I'm just talking to myself here, but in case anyone has the same issue, I installed the Kontackt 8 update, trashed the DB, and now it seems stable for the moment…
