FL Studio Crashes when using Kontakt 8 Instrument

Hi all. FL Studio silently crashes as soon as I load up an instrument and press a key on the virtual keyboard.

I've attached a video that shows FL Studio crashing when using a Kontakt 8 instrument, as well as a whirlwind tour of my settings.

Are there any ideas what the issue may be and how to make it more stable?

Have you tried to open Kontakt in standalone? Does it crash as well? Have you tried these steps? Kontakt Crashes

FL Studio crashed out again with Kontakt8. I have an error message this time:

Does this have to do with FL Studio's "Make Bridged" setting?

What is the recommended setting for Kontakt?

Dos Kontakt crash in standalkone or not?

If it's only in FL Studio and still happening, even after the steps for Kontakt crashes, it's definitely an issue with FL Studio settings.

Make sure you are running FL Studio as admin: How to Run a Program as an Administrator

Untick this "make bridged", 32 bits plug-ins is something from the past, all our plug-ins are 64 bits only.

I was seeing similar issues affecting Kontakt, and also Arturia, IK and Expressive plug-ins too. So it may be an FL Studio issue (still unsure). One potential workaround, albeit I don't know if it solves anything for you here might be:

• Workaround
  • Rescan your plug-ins in FL Studio with the following FL settings set:
    • Verify plugins (disabled)
    • Rescan previously verified plugins (enabled)
    • Rescan plugins with errors (enabled)
    • Combine VST and VST3 versions of a plugin (disabled)
  • Click Find installed plugins
  • After that restart FL Studio
