How to Efficiently Map Third-Party Plugins in KOMPLETE KONTROL S88?

How to integrate third-party plugins (FabFilter, Valhalla, Sonible) into KOMPLETE KONTROL S88 MK2 and create presets?
Hi everyone,
I want to fully utilize my KOMPLETE KONTROL S88 MK2 and integrate it with third-party plugins like FabFilter, Valhalla, and Sonible. I have a few questions:
- What is the best way to load these plugins into KOMPLETE KONTROL so they can be controlled via the S88 MK2?
- I know some plugins support NKS, but if a plugin does not, what is the best way to map parameters to the knobs and keep them consistent?
- Is it better to use MIDI Learn, or is there a more efficient mapping method?
- How can I create custom presets for these plugins?
- Once I map the controls, how do I save them as .nksf presets for easy reuse?
- Has anyone successfully saved FabFilter Pro-Q3 or Valhalla Delay in KOMPLETE KONTROL so they can be conveniently controlled from the S88?
I’d like to streamline my workflow so I can quickly load and use my favorite plugins directly from KOMPLETE KONTROL S88 without having to set them up every time. Any tips or guides would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks a lot!

You can simply save presets for a plugin if you load the plugin from the plugin menu, select a preset then open the control edit section at the top of the plugin section, delete the auto generated pages then learn the parameters you want, label them then File > SaveAs.
That saves a snapshot.
If you do things by hand all the way it's laborious. There are many pre-made libraries both in the user area of the forum here and also in my signature for mostly instrument libraries for 3rd party instruments. Effects are limited in KK for the fact you cannot automate them and it tends to also load down the CPU being all wrapped in a single wrapper instead of handled more intelligently by your DAW so large projects it can be very inefficient to have effects within KK.
